Whatever you folks may think of twitter, it has its uses and it is through twitter that
Matt Steady and I met. What comes across immediately about Matt is his positivism, a quality that should not be underrated in these dark days and this is what got him the WHC gig. That said, he is also a songwriter and musician of quality, now with two strong albums under his belt,
Blood is Thicker than Gold and
Steel and Rust.
The other thing that impresses, is Matt’s beard which brings to mind the poem and drawing by Edward Lear.
There was an Old Man with a beard,
Who said, "It is just as I feared!—
Two Owls and a Hen, four Larks and a Wren,
Have all built their nests in my beard.
There’s always time for a bit of stuff and nonsense here at WHC.
