My Darling Clementine captured live by photographer Ronald Rietman

The Wild Hare Club is proud to present the increasingly popular Americana/country soul duo My Darling Clementine on Thursday 30th November at The Great Western Railway Staff Association Club (a.k.a. The Railway Club) in Hereford as part of ‘The Abdication Tour’.

With more than 700 shows under their belts, My Darling Clementine, have built up a devoted audience for their live performances. For the WHC, the show will comprise of two sets:

The first part will be a journey through their 11 year / critically acclaimed 6 album back catalogue including material from their latest album, released this September.

The second part will feature their interpretations of various Elvis Costello songs from t2021’s classic  Country Darkness album on which they collaborated with Costello’s long-standing and brilliant pianist, Steve Nieve. There will also be songs from Michael Weston King’s recent solo album, (recorded with WHC friend Clovis Phillips) and released last year on the much-loved Cherry Red label, before concluding with some more MDC originals.

This show is for anyone who digs deep country, country-soul and gospel music. If you have ever ached to Gram Parsons singing with Emmylou Harris or indeed ever admired or been intrigued by the songwriting of Elvis Costello, this gig is unmissable.

Tickets are £15 and available to buy on-line via Billetto here.
