What could be a more pleasurable pursuit on a May evening than to sit overlooking the River Wye listening to a live performance of new music created, or at least in part, in response to the musicians’ feelings for the natural world?

On Thursday 9th May, the Wild Hare Club is delighted to be hosting an evening of contemporary pastoral sounds courtesy of two critically-acclaimed artists – Artmagic (featuring guitarist Richard Oakes from Suede and singer/producer and musical director of Alison Moyet’s band, Sean McGhee) and Caoilfhionn Rose. The two duos will be performing songs from their recently released albums, The Songs of Other England and Awaken.

To add to your listening pleasure, local DJ and new music champion, DJ jus’jay, will also be on hand to enhance the crepuscular mood, spinning suitably twilit records before and after the live performances.

Tickets are on-sale now via Billetto.
