Harepin bowling is different to the tenpin game you may be familiar with. Bowling alleys got straight lanes but harepin bowling channels helter-skelter their way down a mountainside, with crossovers and jumps.
To play, first climb the mountain with your mates, then clamber inside your ball and let the helpers set you on the most thrilling descent. The design of the channels means the experience is never quite the same as the last and for some hare-people there is nothing quite like harepin bowling.
Hare people aren’t as a rule competitive - for spectators the joy comes from trying to guess the route of the balls hurtling down the mountain. Believe me, it's more exciting than quidditch!
